About me and how I work

Hello, I’m Sarah. A few years ago, I made the decision to change direction in my career. While I had always enjoyed teaching, I found myself drawn to something that would allow me to work more closely with adults in a way that felt more personally fulfilling. I’ve always been deeply interested in people — their stories, their experiences, and what shapes them — and I’ve always valued the power of being truly heard.

When you feel ready, you are warmly invited to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation.

This Is the Journey That Shaped Me — And Now I'm Here to Walk With You

Difficult roads lead to Beautiful Destinations

Seeing the impact that mental health difficulties had on people close to me, and the difference that counselling made in their lives, sparked something in me I couldn't ignore — and led me to begin my counselling training. During my studies, things began to fall into place in a way I hadn't experienced before; it genuinely felt like I had found where I was meant to be. I realised that my natural compassion, empathy, and ability to listen could be put to meaningful use in supporting others.
One of the aspects I value most about my work is the opportunity to meet and work with people from all walks of life. Every person brings a unique story, and I feel privileged to walk alongside clients as they explore theirs.

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.

Let's Chat

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting — and that’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the “right words” or even know exactly what you’re looking for. Sometimes, it simply starts with a conversation.
If you’re curious about how counselling might help, or you’d just like to ask a few questions, I’d love to hear from you. There’s no pressure, no obligation — just a safe, friendly space to talk things through.
