Why I became a Counsellor

Hello I’m Sarah and several years ago I decided to make a change in my career and I trained to become a counsellor.

Throughout my teaching career, prior to counselling, I've always found deep fulfilment in helping students navigate their challenges. I noticed that many wanted to explore their feelings and emotional difficulties on a deeper level, which sparked a new passion within me.

This inspiration led me to embark on my counselling training journey. During my studies, everything fell into place—I truly felt like a 'round peg in a round hole.' I discovered that my natural compassion and empathy could make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

This Is the Journey That Shaped Me — And Now I'm Here to Walk With You

Difficult roads lead to Beautiful Destinations

My teaching background has given me valuable insights into human connection and personal growth, which I bring to each counselling session.

I'm committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward greater understanding and emotional wellbeing.

I began working with clients with addiction in a face-to-face setting in Ipswich and online where I gained significant experience counselling clients with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, low self-esteem, abuse, bullying, domestic violence, obsessive compulsive disorder, and relationship issues.
